Filtrele de ulei K&N pentru automobile și motociclete sunt populare pentru durabilitatea și înlocuirea lor ușoară. Majoritatea acestor filtre de ulei au sudată o piuliță care permite o înlocuire ușoară cu unelte ușor disponibile.

Filtrele de ulei K&N au multe caracteristici care depășesc cerințele obișnuite ale majorității vehiculelor. Folosim un material mai puternic pentru a crește rezistența la fisurare. Construcția solida rezistă unei presiuni mai mare a uleiului (în curse) fără a se deteriora. Intrarea forată în piuliță servește la fixarea firului de siguranță, care este necesar pentru anumite tipuri de curse. Firul previne căderii filtrului deteriorat pe pistă, unde ar putea fii un pericol pentru alte vehicule. De peste 50 de ani, K&N este lider în industria tehnologiei de filtrare a autovehiculelor, oferind produse care sporesc performanța, protecția și longevitatea în autovehicule pentru mii de aplicații și consumatorii din întreaga lume.

La începutul anilor 1960, doi motocicliști, Ken Johnson și Norm McDonald (K&N), au dezvoltat o idee revoluționară pentru un filtru de aer care să funcționeze pe terenuri prăfuite și murdare. După ce au experimentat cu mai multe tipuri de materiale de filtrare, au descoperit că combinația de bumbac uns/impregnat cu ulei nu numai că permitea filtrului să rețină murdăria foarte eficient, dar permitea și spălarea și reutilizarea acestuia și astfel a luat naștere primul filtru de aer K&N. Cinci decenii mai târziu, K&N continuă să inoveze în domeniul tehnologiei de filtrare de ultimă oră, oferind protecție superioară pentru orice, de la cele mai eficiente mașini de dragsters până la vehiculele obișnuite din întreaga lume.
