- Studs help minimize the common issue of stripped M10 threads in the aluminum M52TU/M54 engine block. Thanks to a tighter thread fit, they transfer loads between the stud and the block more effectively
- Compact 13 mm nuts - easy to tighten without removing camshafts
- The studs feature an internal hex socket, which makes installation easier. They can also be installed without removing the cylinder head, making it possible to replace the bolts with studs during an upgrade.
- We recommend to use Loctite 3020 to assembly head gasket
- Prepare the engine block and install the studs and cylinder head according to the assembly instructions included with the kit.
